So I went to Hot Import Nights in Long Beach and it was pretty boring. Spending 8 hours in a convention center full of cars youve seen a thousand times isnt too fun for someone like me. I had a final the next day so I spent most of it in the cafeteria hitting the books and memorizing my notes. When judging came the usual people won and the rest of us finally got to go home.

I got all artistic with my picture taking because I was visiting a news website earlier that day while I was at work and thought "Damn I should take pictures like that!" I mean pictures that convey meaning and have a lot of feeling in them. Not just another angled shot of a car. Too bad it was dark though because I had to throw away a lot of good shots of the show.

Its summer which means I dont have to do any school work which also means I can write more stories.

Well I finally got around to gettin my Starion Intercooler modified ready for the galant, read on to see how I installed it in the galant and take a peek at the pics...

well, I started off by cutting off the pipes that come on the top of the intercooler and welding caps on the end, thanks to Brad from TBDSM for the help.

2.5 inch diameter inlet pipes were welded onto the ends of the endtanks

I took the bumper off the car, and test fit the intercooler, there is a brace that looks like an enlarged "+" shape...the bottom leg can be cut off right at the intersection so that it looks like an upside down "T" then after you cut it there, the leg will come off with 1 bolt that holds it in at the bottom, once this is outta the way you have plenty of room in slide that intercooler right in there

For those of you who want your own unique kit but not spend a lot of money i say good luck to you because I can only help get things made and mass produced for an affordable price (This applies to all cars not just Galants). So if youre worried about getting stuff that will be "played out" I highly recommend going to a body shop to make your one unique creation. To each his own.
