Well I finally got around to gettin my Starion Intercooler modified ready
for the galant, read on to see how I installed it in the galant and take a
peek at the pics...
well, I started off by cutting off the pipes that come on the top of the
intercooler and welding caps on the end, thanks to Brad from TBDSM for the
help.
2.5 inch diameter inlet pipes were welded onto the ends of the
endtanks
I took the bumper off the car, and test fit the intercooler, there is a
brace that looks like an enlarged "+" shape...the bottom leg can be cut off
right at the intersection so that it looks like an upside down "T" then
after you cut it there, the leg will come off with 1 bolt that holds it in
at the bottom, once this is outta the way you have plenty of room in slide
that intercooler right in there
